How to Draw a Red Panda
Add basic markup. To indicate the location of the head and body of the red panda, you should depict two oval-shaped figures and one incomplete oval.
Add guidelines. Draw the line of the back, indicate the location of the tail, and the front and hind limbs of the red panda using curved lines.
Depict the eyes and ears of the animal. Inside the outline of the head, draw the eyes as two large dots, add two symmetrical ears at the top of the head in the form of curved lines.
Depict the nose, mouth, and chin of the animal. At the bottom of the red panda’s head, add some rounded and curved lines, as shown in the picture.
Add the outlines of the front paws of the red panda. Near the previously drawn auxiliary lines indicating the location of the front paws of the animal, depict curved lines.
Finish drawing the front paws of the red panda. Now you should draw the feet and toes on the front paws of the red panda, adding some curved lines.
Sketch out the belly and finish drawing the tail. From the previously drawn front paw, draw a curved line to mark the hind paw. Connect the back of the body with the line of the tail.
Draw the outlines of the red panda’s hind legs. Now add some curved lines near the markings indicating the location of the red panda’s hind legs.
Finish drawing the pair of hind legs. Add the feet and toes at the bottom of the previously drawn paws. To do this, use curved and rounded lines.
Finish drawing the head of the red panda. Sketch out the whiskers, the inside of the ears, and also depict the panda’s fur using short dashed lines.
Finish the sketch of the drawing. Now you just need to remove the extra auxiliary lines drawn earlier. Use the eraser to prepare the drawing for coloring.
Color the drawing. To color the red panda, use black, gray, and various shades of brown. Mark the color transitions with hatching.
So this wonderful drawing lesson dedicated to the image of the red panda has come to an end.
