How to Draw a Male Face

How to Draw a Male Face
- Draw the base.
Determine the size and location of the drawing and draw an even circle. This way you outline the outline of the head.
- Add the bottom of the face.
From the circle, draw down a few smooth thin lines in order to depict the outline of the lower part of the face.
- Mark up the elements of the face.
Draw three smooth horizontal lines at some distance from each other. These lines will help you position the parts of the face correctly.
- Determine the position of the eyes.
Using semicircular lines, depict the eyes that are located on the upper auxiliary line.
- Mark the position of the nose.
Draw the tip of the nose in the form of a circle and add the nostrils on the sides using semicircular lines. Use thin lines that can be easily removed later.
- Mark the position of the mouth.
Sketch out a few ovals on the bottom horizontal line. All lines at this stage should be thin.
- Depict the eyebrows.
Continue adding elements of the face and just above the eyes draw the eyebrows of the same shape as in our example.
- Sketch out the ears and neck.
On the sides of the head, add two ears, while maintaining symmetry. At the bottom, draw two smooth, curved lines to represent the neck.
- Detail the eyes.
Draw the upper eyelid using a smooth, curved line. In the middle of each eye, add the iris and pupil. Depict the inner corners of the eyes.
- Make the outlines clear.
Carefully trace the neck and trace the face along the contour, giving it the desired shape. Outline the ears and add the curves in the auricle. At the temples draw the outline of the hair.
- Depict the hair and detail the eyebrows.
With the help of smooth lines, draw the spiky strands of the hair on the forehead and on the crown. Define the brow outline and highlight the individual hairs on the brows.
- Make the outline of the eyes and nose clearer.
Focus on the lines that you drew in the previous steps and trace the eyes and nose along the contour, giving them the correct shape. Add the folds on the upper and lower eyelids.
- Detail the rest of the face.
Draw the pupils in each eye. Give the lips the desired shape and with the help of short strokes depict the stubble in the lower part of the face.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Take the eraser and carefully remove any extra lines on the drawing to prepare it for coloring.
- Color the drawing.
For coloring skin and hair, use any natural shades. Color the iris brown, pupils black. Highlight the dark areas.
