How to Draw a Bow
- Draw the bottom outline of the bow.
This step will require you to be attentive and precise. Draw a smooth wavy line of the same shape as shown in our example.
- Add the thickness of the handle and shoulders.
A little higher, draw another line that has a similar shape. Be careful and keep symmetry.
- Depict the handle.
In the middle, select the small area using transverse lines. Shade the middle of this area with short parallel lines.
- Sketch out the string.
This is a very simple step, but it will also require you to be precise. Here you will need to draw a straight horizontal line. You can use hand tools or draw this line yourself.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Rate your drawing. If you notice inaccuracies, you can immediately correct them and thereby prepare the drawing for coloring.
- Color the bow.
Here you will need different shades of brown. Color the handle with a darker color and do not forget to add shadows.
